Use procurement data and behavioural economics to encourage low carbon contracting in government. When we know that government contracts are coming up for renewal, it is possible to alert buyers and procurement teams about low carbon alternatives that they can specify or measure in their next contract. This would help a large part of our economies to reduce their CO2 and make sure that they are rewarding innovative, low carbon companies.
