Turn Abandoned Malls into Indoor Parks and Gardens

The decline in malls due to e-commerce has left many abandoned buildings in American suburbia. At the same time, people lack much in the way of non-commercialized space just to exist in.

Meanwhile, ever hotter temperatures are turning some summer days into ones that are too hot to go outside. By turning abandoned shopping malls into indoor parks and gardens, we can provide people with green space that isn’t 130 degrees in August and make use of the massive amounts of land and buildings left behind by the collapse of malls.
